The group name, (G)I-DLE , means 'a team of five personalities ' by placing each individual as 'I' and adding the plural suffix '-deul '. The official name is “(G)I-DLE,” but when called, they are called “I-DLE” without the (female).

People who live in Neverland, the imaginary space in Peter Pan, can live forever as children without changing. Just as artists live together among their fans, (girl) children live forever as (girl) children in Neverland and never change with their fans. It means to be together for a long time.
