Julie

Julie was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA, and moved to South Korea when she was 13 years old.

She practiced ballet during her middle school years but later transitioned to hip hop and other styles of dance after moving to Korea.

She began her training at TheBlackLabel in 2017 and continued her journey as a trainee at Swing Entertainment before debuting with KISS OF LIFE.

Her audition journey started with dance classes at Def Dance Skool, where she impressed her instructors with her versatility in dance.

Julie’s parents are both ethnically Korean, and she has an older brother named Joseph Han, a Korean-American author who wrote *Nuclear Family*.

Her mother is a fashion designer, which influenced Julie’s interest in style and fashion.

Julie is a fan of reading, watching movies, shopping, and dancing.

Her favorite movie is *The Devil Wears Prada*, and her favorite Sanrio character is Pochacco.

She dislikes selfish people, bravado, and reptiles.

Her favorite color is unknown, but she’s fond of cute and stylish aesthetics.

Her role model is Audrey Hepburn, known for her grace and elegance.

Julie describes herself as charming and is often called 'Judy' or 'Baby Yoda' by her friends, with Belle giving her the Baby Yoda nickname.

She’s known to be the most feminine member of the group, according to the creative director.

She is deeply loyal and close with her friends, including Hwiseo from H1-KEY, as they trained together.

Julie speaks both English and Korean fluently.

She originally aspired to be a ballerina but switched to hip hop dancing after encouragement from her father, eventually leading her to pursue becoming an idol.

If given the chance, she’d love to work as a stylist for a day as part of her team.
