Han

Han was born in Korea but moved to Malaysia during his elementary school years. There, he experienced international school and homeschooling, eventually passing exams to complete his studies from elementary to high school.

Despite his limited school experiences, he pursued his dream of becoming a singer, moving back to Korea after passing his exams to audition for JYP Entertainment. He promised his parents that if he didn’t succeed within a year, he would return to Malaysia for university.

Han joined JYP Entertainment as a trainee after passing the audition within three months, marking the beginning of his journey towards debuting with Stray Kids.

He has a close relationship with his family, who eventually returned to Korea, allowing them to be near him.

Han's cousin is cheerleader Kim Makgeum, and through her marriage, Han gained pitcher Lim Ki-young as a brother-in-law.
