Kyungmin

Kyungmin was born in Jangi, Gimpo, Gyeonggi, South Korea.

He began his dance journey by teaching himself idol choreographies and later joined an audition academy before becoming a PLEDIS trainee.

He trained under PLEDIS after passing an in-house audition and was introduced by SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi at Caratland in 2023.

Kyungmin is the first idol born in 2007 to debut under HYBE and PLEDIS Entertainment.

His family consists of his parents and his two younger brothers, born in 2011 and 2015.

He often speaks fondly of his family and enjoys being a responsible older brother.

Kyungmin is known for his curiosity and playfulness, often asking his older members a lot of questions.

Despite being the youngest in the group, he shows a mix of cute maknae charm and responsible firstborn energy.

He has a fun and energetic presence in the group, often boosting the mood with his playful nature.

His attention to detail is reflected in his ability to remember and care for his members, often checking in on them to make sure they are okay.

Kyungmin’s favorite color is light purple, and he associates yellow with his personality.

His favorite food is tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), and he loves desserts like macarons, waffles, and fruit-filled cream bread.

He enjoys playing basketball and loves solving Rubik’s cubes, having once completed a pentagonal cube in 16 hours.

His favorite season is spring because it's neither too hot nor too cold.

Kyungmin’s special skill is double jumping with a jump rope, and he can perform about 100 jumps in one go.

He has a strong interest in Rubik’s cubes and enjoys solving complex puzzles during his free time.

He loves meerkats and says he resembles one, especially with his curious and alert demeanor.
